I search the topic in these days. At last I am luck to find your blog. I love your web page! did you create this yourself or did you outsource it? Im in search of a blog design thats similar so thats the only cause I’m asking. Either way keep up the great work I was impressed with your content genuinely. BTW, could I use your thread on my blog or could we do links exchange? Have a good day. My blog is Blackberry Phone Guide

Your yarn owl is a little offish, I have the same owl but the dark susie homemaker who crafted my find was a much better hand. I love that company feels like its eyes are always watching them. For home made "art" its is a powerful piece.

LOVE IT!!! Owls might just be the new greyhounds ,of Kelly Wearstler fame via 2007..
Should be able to find tons of these at markets they were huge in the 70's. I use to carry vintage owl jewelry at my store and was always shocked at how some people have a grand affinity towards them. Remember white laquer can still be our friend as long as its not of rococo furniture so just grab a can at home depot and have at any hideous paint job..

this site is magical. so are owls. however, that wide-eyed taxidermy look leads me to suspect that they prefer the dark arts.

Owls are beautiful in Design. Symmetrical. Graphic. Simple yet Complex. The easiest bird to draw.

I love them! They're so weird, they're good! Plus my little guy's nursery is all owls- but hopefully not as scary as these examples here, otherwise my mothering skills are already being called into question.

Not only are they like dolls with feathers....they are like DOLLS FROM THE DEAD WITH DEAD FEATHERS! I was freaked out by them initially but then each kinda grew on me. My money is on the yarn art masterpiece being America's Most Unwanted.

I think you would be WISE to bypass any of these at the flea markets...they're sort of like dolls with feathers, if you ask me.
